Toledo Museum of Art seeks Associate Curator of Works on Paper

The Toledo Museum of Art seeks an Associate Curator for their works on paper collection. The museum has a varied art collection, including seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish artists and is one of the venues of CODART’s Study Trip to the Midwest  (11 – 17 October). Its collection of works on paper includes objects by Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Francisco Goya, Vincent van Gogh, Ed Ruscha and Henri Matisse. A first-edition King James Bible, pages from the Gutenberg Bible and photographs by Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Ansel Adams, among others.

The Associate Curator of Works on Paper provides curatorial support related to the Toledo Museum of Art’s permanent collection, exhibitions, and special presentations in this area. The position reports to the Associate Director and requires close collaboration with the curatorial staff, and colleagues in Education, Programs, Registration, Conservation, Finance, and Marketing.

The position actively supports the care, research, exhibition, growth, and custody of all objects in the art collections belonging to or on loan to Toledo Museum of Art.
