In connection with our Rubens exhibition, which looks at the Flemish baroque master’s amazing ability to adapt and rework motifs in his compositions, renowned specialists will present the results of recent research. Some of the talks will look at selected subjects and motifs found in Rubens’ oeuvre, others will introduce the results of the latest restoration interventions. The focus is on new aspects of the master’s creative process and his inventiveness and imagination.
