Starting this coming July, the Stadhuismuseum Zierikzee will present an exhibition dedicated to Daniël de Blieck (1627–1673). Born in Middelburg, De Blieck was a versatile artist—a painter, technical draftsman, and architect—who specialized in architectural paintings.
For the accompanying publication, the museum is looking to contact the current owner of the painting pictured below. The work was last recorded in a private collection in the Netherlands in 1999.

Daniël de Blieck (1627–1673), Palace Interior with Figures, signed and dated 1662, 120 x 100 cm. Private collection, The Netherlands (?)
Additionally, the museum is interested in identifying other works by De Blieck that are currently held in private collections or are otherwise not included in public institutional records.
