Two-year fellowship with possibility of renewal for a third year. Provides curatorial training and supports scholarly research and publications related to the NGA collection. Fellows are fully integrated into a specific curatorial department with duties and status equivalent to those of an assistant curator. Fellows divide their time between specific projects and general curatorial work
Stipend and travel funding is provided. Fellows are responsible for finding their own housing.
Eligibility
Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD program and actively working on their dissertation. Completion of the PhD is expected within 3-5 years of the start date of the fellowship.
