Getty Graduate Internships are offered at the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Getty Research Institute, the Getty Conservation Institute, the Getty Foundation, and Getty Publications and Getty Digital. Training is available in curatorial, education, conservation, research, publications, public programs, digital projects, and grant making.
Internships are for 12 months, beginning in September. Stipend and modest relocation expenses are provided. Additional funding for research travel is available. Housing is not provided.
Eligibility
Candidates of all nationalities are welcome to apply. Individuals from underrepresented groups in art history, museums, and conservation are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recent graduates of an M.A. or Ph.D. program in a field relevant to the internship for which they are applying.
