Changes on CODART Staff: Femke van Leeuwen-Jansen New Project Associate, Ilse Mulder Leaves

We are pleased to announce that Femke van Leeuwen-Jansen has joined the CODART team on 1 May as our new Project Associate Website and Social Media. The number of staff remains the same after the departure of Ilse Mulder, who was a Project Associate until the end of April.

Femke van Leeuwen-Jansen

As Project Associate Website and Social Media, Femke will further strengthen CODART’s online presence on social media, and assist the webmaster in the management of the website.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Culture Studies and a Master’s degree in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship (both obtained from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam), Femke brings her knowledge and passion for the arts to CODART. Previous roles such as Marketer at Peppered and Editor for Online Gallery, have given Femke relevant experience in the cultural sector; she has built an editorial and digital skill set that will surely prove useful in her new role.

Femke is excited to join CODART 25 in Stockholm this June: ‘This is the ideal opportunity to learn more about CODART and its extensive network of curators. Iā€™m looking forward to meeting many members there,’ Femke says.

Ilse Mulder

Ilse began at the CODART office in February 2022 as an intern for CODART 23. She was invited to return in 2023 to assist with various activities and projects organized during CODARTā€™s 25th anniversary year, including the Symposium, Anniversary Magazine and CODART Memories. She also made a major contribution to the publication of around 150 collection summaries, especially of collections in the Netherlands and Italy, where her excellent knowledge of Italian was of great value.

We would like to thank Ilse for all her work and wish her the best of luck in Italy.
