CODART ACHT study trip to Sweden off to a memorable start

Wednesday afternoon, 21 September, the CODART ACHT study trip began at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm with the opening of the exhibition of The Dutch Golden Age. The opening speech was delivered by Ronald de Leeuw, director of the Rijksmuseum, framed by Dutch music of the 17th century by Camerata Trajectina. The opening took a dramatic turn when the guests were asked to leave the gallery for a quarter of an hour so that the newly recovered Rembrandt self-portrait could be installed.
