CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

CODART looks back on a great congress in Amsterdam, and looking forward to the next one in London

Last week, from 16-18 March, 138 curators of Dutch and Flemish art gathered in Amsterdam for the yearly CODART congress. CODART ZEVENTIEN, the 17th of such congresses, was a great succes, in no small part thanks to the institutions that hosted us. CODART would like to thank the Rijksmuseum, Museum Van Loon, Amsterdam Museum, Rembrandt House Museum, Scheepvaartmuseum, Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar and UvA heritage for their kind hospitality to their colleagues from across the world.

Once again, we were very much inspired by the overwhelming enthusiasm and passion of our member curators for their work. We are looking forward to our next congress, from 18-20 January 2015, CODART ACHTTIEN in London!

For those of you who couldn’t attend, there was extensive tweeting with hashtag #CODART17. Below you will find a digest of our own tweets, which will give you a good idea of what happened.
