Museum information
In Rembrandt’s name is the second in a series of exhibitions at the Museum of Foreign Art under the title The Golden Ages of the Netherlands. The first exhibition of the cycle, Adriaen van Ostade, was organised in 2002. The exhibition In Rembrandt’s name will include 44 graphics from the collection of the Museum of Fine Art, among which there are original etchings by the legendary Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669). Other pieces of graphic art include copies, studies and forgeries of the great master’s works and due to their subject, composition or technical development can be brought under the title “Rembrandt’s range of influence.”
