400 years ago, the city of Zwolle was home to one of the most important artist families of the seventeenth century, with famous descendants such as Gerard ter Borch and Gesina ter Borch. Many drawings from their youth have been carefully preserved by the family and today they provide a unique insight into the city life at that time. For this exhibition, the Museum de Fundatie brings together 25 paintings and 75 works on paper from the Rijksmuseum’s Print Room to Zwolle.
