Museum information
40 drawings from the Teyler print room give the visitor a look into Dutch interiors of all kinds. 17th-century rooms are alternated with gracious salons from the late 18th century and squalid peasant dwellings that seem to be of all times. There are pictures of burnt-out interiors, a look at the first painting exhibition in the Netherlands, cozy family quarters and impressive monumental spaces. The exhibition includes work by Willem Buytewech, Adriaen van Ostade, Cornelis Troost, Johannes Bosboom and other artists.
