Documenting Heritage Research Conference: 8 June 2015

On 8 June 2015 the Rubenianum organizes a study day devoted to various issues documentation centers within the field of cultural heritage encounter. The Rubenianum – whose mission statement includes documenting artwork information – calls upon its colleagues to discuss guidelines for organizing, preserving and disclosing documentary research collections.

· The aim of the study day is to bring together colleagues with different professional backgrounds to present case-studies, exchange ideas and discuss current policies and guidelines.

· The program includes presentations by colleagues from Louvain, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels and The Hague. Colleagues from museums, archives, documentation- and research centers are warmly invited to participate. Papers will be delivered in Dutch.

Topics include the collections of art historians Ludwig Burchard, Max Friedländer and Jan Karel Steppe.
