University information
This interdisciplinary conference will explore the place of Dutch history and the influence of Dutch art, design, trade, religion, politics, philosophy, and culture in the U.S. during the past 4 centuries. From Henry Hudson to Piet Mondrian and beyond, this conference seeks to understand how and why βDutchismβ (cf. Hispanism) has fared the way it has in America.
