āHet komt allemaal goedā (Everything will be fine) is a surprising collaboration between writer-singer Rick de Leeuw and art historian Katharina Van Cauteren, head of The Phoebus Foundation. United by a shared fascination for art and storytelling, they set out not just to look at paintingsābut to listen to them. Rick de Leeuw selected twelve works from The Phoebus Foundationās collection that touched him personally, translating their visual power into music and poetry. The result is not a traditional art commentary, but a distinctive artistic dialogue in sound and word.
In this unique cross-pollination of music and painting, two worlds come together. The emotional strength of visual art is amplified through language and melody, allowing each painting not only to speakābut to sing. Katharina Van Cauteren provides historical and artistic context, while Rick de Leeuw transforms the artworks into songs full of hope, doubt, longing, and comfort. Together, they invite the audience into a new kind of experienceāone that encourages not only looking but also feeling and listening.
The exhibition is free to visit and open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. Those who also wish to visit the Open Construction Site of the Boerentoren are asked to register in advance. Combined visits are available daily until 30 June 2025. A contribution of ā¬15 per person is requested to cover guided tours and safety measures.
