On Monday, 23 November 2015 Museum Catharijneconvent in Utrecht organizes a seminar to mark the publication of Joos van Cleve: a Sixteenth-Century Antwerp Artist and his Workshop by Micha Leeflang. The book, from Brepols Publishers, is the eighth volume in the ‘Me Fecit’ series edited by Dr Maryan W. Ainsworth, Curator of European Paintings at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, which is devoted to the technical investigation of paintings by an artist and/or his workshop. At the conclusion of the lecture programme you will be welcome to visit the small presentation ‘Joos van Cleve and his World’ and the exhibition Bruegel’s Witches.
Refreshments will be served in the museum café at the conclusion of the afternoon.
