Part of a collaborative project of seven French museums on their holdings in Italian drawings. The contribution of the Musée de Grenoble consists not of drawings by Italian artists but of sheets by artists from France and northern Europe working in Italy. Includes work by Rubens and van Dyck as well as Bamboccianti like Pieter van Laer and Karel Dujardin, Bartholomeus Breenbergh, Herman Swanevelt and Jan Asselijn in addition to a choice of French and German colleagues.
