CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

The exhibition showcases the rich graphic arts collection of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Orleans, which is rarely shown to the public for conservation reasons.

Through the presentation of around 120 drawings, covering all periods and European schools from the fifteenth to the twenty-first century, and materials (pigments, tools, conservation and restoration material …), as well as multimedia, the exhibition aims to show the the technique of drawing but also the way in which these works are preserved and restored within a museum. The exhibition includes works by Dutch and Flemish Old Masters as well as by Boucher, Fragonard, Géricault, Greuze, Ingres, Picasso, Pissaro, Rodin, Tiepolo, Tintoretto, Titian and Véronèse.
