Women in Rembrandt’s Work

Exhibition: 15 February - 15 May 2024

The Glénat Fund presents a new focus exhibition in the Rembrandt Cabinet devoted to female representation in Rembrandt’s etchings: Les femmes chez Rembrandt (Women in Rembrandt’s Work).

A selection of eleven engravings is featured. Some of them come from the Fonds Glénat’s newly-acquired collections, and have not yet been presented to the public. The others are on loan from Paris, from the Lugt collection at the Fondation Custodia, and the Dutuit collection at the Petit Palais. These engravings will be presented around three themes in the center of the Rembrandt cabinet.

The prints from the Petit Palais will be on show until 15 May, and those from the Fondation Custodia until 27 July 2024. They will then be replaced by additional prints from the Fonds Glénat collection in the second half of 2024.
