The São Paulo social service organ SESI (Social Services to Industries) and the Cultural Centre of FIESP (The Industrial Federation of São Paulo) are mounting an exhibition at the SESI Art Gallery entitled The Ricardo Brennand Institute and the rescue of Dutch Brazil. Known for his love of art, the Pernambuco businessman Ricardo Brennand will exhibit the objects in his collection having to do with the Dutch period of the 17th century in Brazil. They include 13 paintings by Frans Post, Caspar Barlaeus’s book on Brazil and 225 other objects of national art and craft.
