From the museum press release, 18 January 2011
From 17 March until 26 June the Rijksmuseum Twenthe will show, for the first time in its history, an undisputed painting by Rembrandt. The Portrait of an unknown young man will be on show in the museum for four months as a loan from the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum in Aachen. It will be shown within the context of the best portraits from the Rijksmuseum Twenthe’s collection, among which are two portraits by Friedrich Tischbein (1750-1812) and one from the workshop of Hans Holbein the younger (ca. 1497-1540).
