Part of multi-museum program Rubens 2004.
From the Rubens 2004 website
Balthasar I Moretus asked his childhood friend Rubens to provide illustrations for his books. But the printer did more than this. Moretus provided the instructions for the title pages that he had Rubens design. The results, in the form of richly illustrated Baroque books, were to set the tone right across Europe. The presentation gives an insight into the significance of this particular cooperation between publisher and artist. Rubens as art director. All this in a glorious décor, with original material and a multi-media application.
