The exhibition The Golden Age: Flemish & Dutch Painting of the 17th Century from Private Collections brings together more than 30 Dutch and Flemish paintings in order to demonstrate the stylistic similarities and differences between these two national schools of the 17th century.

Among the outstanding masters of Flemish and Dutch painting alongside their followers presented at the exhibition are Jan van Goyen, Jan Brueghel the Younger, Frans and Jerome Franken, Bartholomeus van Bassen, Simon Kick, Sebastiaen Vrancx, Isaac van Ostade, Ernst Stuven, Klaes Molenaer, Mattheus Molanus, David Teniers the Younger, Jan Gillemans the Elder, Cornelis Saftleven, Jan Miel, Lucas van Uden and others.

The exhibition is accompanied by the collection’s catalogue in Russian From the Middle ages to the baroque. History of European art. Painting and decorative art from a private collection, published by the Artcentre.Moscow in 2021.
