Friday 15 May 2009, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam will organize a special arrangement on the occasion of the presentation of Vermeer’s masterpiece Woman Holding a Balance

The renowned Vermeer-scholar, Arthur Wheelock will give a lecture on the masterpieces of Vermeer entitled What makes a Vermeer a Vermeer? Searching for clues in the conservation laboratory.
