Among the Dutch and Flemish works of art in the collection of the Chazen Museum of Art, a triptych by Colijn de Coter, The Lamentation (Pietà), and a painting of Hendrik Colff of Gorinchem (1560-1570) by an anonymous artist stand out.   

The museum also has landscapes by Jacob de Heusch and Nicolaes Berchem the Elder, and hunting scenes by Gillis Rombouts and Jacob van Huchtenburg. Peasant scenes are represented by Cornelis Pietersz Bega and Gerrit Lundens, while The Musical Company by Anthonie Palamedesz reveals the higher strata of Dutch life. The collection also includes a view of the village of Olinda in Brazil by Frans Jansz. Post, a painting from the circle of Gerrit Willemsz. Horst, and a still life from the school of Jan Davidsz. de Heem. 

Artists represented in this print collection include Rembrandt, Philips Galle, Paulus Moreelse, Lucas van Leyden, Claes Jansz. Visscher, Adriaen van Ostade, Paulus Potter, Ludolf Bakhuysen I, Hendrick Goltzius and Ferdinand Bol, among others. 

In the drawings section, there are works by Anthonie Waterloo, Willem de Poorter, Jacob van der Ulft, as well as works attributed to Pieter Aertsen and Jan Both. Finally, there is a sculpture by Hubert Gerhard, Sextus Tarquinius Threatening Lucretia.
