Currier Museum of Art

Information

The Currier Museum of Art’s small but exceptional collection of Dutch and Flemish art includes sixteenth-century paintings by Joos van Cleve, Jan Gossaert and a massive Franco Flemish Tapestry. The area with greatest depth is in Dutch seventeenth-century painting, including works by Jan de Bray, Jacob van Ruisdael, Hendrik Goltzius, Jan Molenaer, Judith Leyster, and Balthasar van der Ast. The Currier’s Dutch print collection includes works by Rembrandt, Esaias van den Velde, Adriaen van Ostade, Jan Both, Jacques Callot, Jacob van Ruisdael, and Hendrick Goltzius. The museum also has on view a rotating selection of paintings from the Rose-Marie and Eyck van Otterloo Collection.
