Le Cabinet Rembrandt

Information

Le Cabinet Rembrandt (The Rembrandt Cabinet) opened in 2019 at the Sainte-Cécile Convent in Grenoble. The museum presents a selection of engravings by the Dutch master from the collection of the Glénat Fund, which includes over one hundred works.

The exhibition space is divided into several rooms that allow visitors to see and understand the artist’s technique and creative process before discovering some forty original works grouped into five themes: “Self-Portraits and Group Portraits”, “Genre Scenes”, “Religious and Mythological Scenes”, “Nudes” and “Portraits and Oriental Figures”.

Due to the fragile condition of the works on paper, the prints are presented in a rotating selection.
