Information
After a quarter of a century at the Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis at Herengracht 518 in Amsterdam, Museum Geelvinck moved to new premises in 2015. It now occupies Kolthoorn House and Gardens, a country estate near the village of Heerde in the Veluwe region. It also has a modest annex in Amsterdam in the catacombs of the Posthoorn Church – the Geelvinck Early Piano Museum. Museum Geelvinck manages a small collection of Dutch artworks from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Its collections include the largest collection of early stringed keyboard instruments in the Netherlands.
