National Museum in Cracow

Information

The National Museum in Cracow houses a small but interesting collection of paintings by early modern Dutch and Flemish painters, including Jan Gossaert, Cornelis de Vos, Nicolaes Maes, Dirck van Baburen, and Jan van Goyen. Notably, it possesses one of the versions of The Sermon of Saint John the Baptist by Pieter Brueghel the Younger.  A distinct group of works is formed by the paintings in the Princes Czartoryski Museum, a branch of the National Museum.
