The Collection of Phoenix Art Museum comprises nearly 150 artworks by Dutch and Flemish artists from  1500 to 1685. Highlights include mid-seventeenth century still life, landscape, and portrait paintings by Balthasar van der Ast, Jan van Dalen, Jacob van Ruisdael, Salomon Koninck, Jan Miense Molenaer, Pieter Janssens, and a significant Delft vase from 1660. The collection also holds an impressive selection of engravings and etchings by Rembrandt van Rijn, Karel Dujardin, Adriaen van Ostade, and examples from notable print shops such as Hieronymus Cock and Johannes and Lucas van Doetecum, and Hans Vredeman de Vries. Religious and mythological scenes are represented by Abraham Janssen, Balthasar Beschey, and Jan Steen, as well as earlier paintings by the Workshop of Gerard David and Jacob Cornelisz van Oostsanen.
