Please note: the castle is currently being renovated and is gradually being reopened to visitors.

The Poet’s Rooms (die Dichterzimmer) and the castle chapel (Schlosskapelle) can be visited as part of guided tours. Slated for completion before 2030, the castle is undergoing a large transformation. It will feature completely redesigned exhibition galleries that open up previously inaccessible spaces, while also evolving into a dynamic visitor center for discussions and learning, becoming the new heart of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.
