The museum will be closed for a 7-year renovation period, starting 31 October 2021. Highlights of the collection will be on display in the ZKM Karlsruhe from 28 April 2023 onward. The presentation includes Dutch and Flemish masterworks by Bouts, Gossaert, Hemessen, Coecke van Aelst, Rubens, Jordaens, Clara Peeters, Rembrandt, Netscher, de Hooch, Rachel Ruysch, Huysum.
