REMINDER – Job offer: the Slifka Foundation Interdisciplinary Fellowship [September 2012-August 2013] in the Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Slifka Foundation Interdisciplinary Fellowship is awarded to a completed MA- or a PhD-level candidate for training in an interdisciplinary approach, joining art historical research with technical investigation of the Museum’s Northern Renaissance paintings.

Please note: the recipient of the fellowship will conduct research with the curator for the collection catalogues of early Netherlandish, French, and German paintings. Applicants applying for this fellowship must contact the Grants Office prior to submitting an application at
education.grants@metmuseum.org.

With your application please provide the following:

• Cover sheet including name, home and present address, telephone number(s), and email address
• Full curriculum vitae of education and employment
• List of art history courses taken
• Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts
• A statement not to exceed one thousand words, specifying what the applicant hopes to gain through this fellowship opportunity and how it will further the applicant’s educational and career goals
• Three letters of recommendation at least one academic and one professional
