There are currently two job openings at the Rijksmuseum. One is for a curator of 18-century Dutch painting. It is a part-time position for one year. The vacancy text (Dutch only) is available on the Rijksmuseum website.
In addition, the Print Room of the Rijksmuseum is offering a one- to two-year training position for a candidate to join the curatorial team to contribute actively to the compilation of the permanent collection catalogue of the museum’s world-class collection of 17th-century Dutch drawings. The appointment is supported by the Getty Foundation as part of The Paper Project, an initiative focused on prints and drawings curatorship in the 21st century.
The position is available to young art historians who have recently completed a Master’s or PhD degree in art history with a specialist focus on 17th-century Dutch art, in particular drawings. For more information see this page (in English). Candidates may apply until 15 October.
