Stolen Seascape by Bonaventura Peeters Recovered

Roger Quarm of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich has let us know that the seascape by Bonaventura Peeters stolen last month from the museum has been recovered by the police. See CODART News item of 19 November 2007.

He reported the good news in this mail to CODART of 7 December: "I am very pleased to be able to be able to tell you that the police recovered this picture on Wednesday evening – just in time for it to be included in the catalogue for our Dutch and Flemish Seascapes exhibition next year. We are all delighted and very relieved!"
