Help the Mauritshuis Restore Paulus Potter’s ‘The Bull’ by Voting

The Mauritshuis has been nominated for this year’s BankGiro Lottery Museum Prize. The museum is shortlisted with two non-art museums for a cash prize of € 100,000. Winning this prize would allow the museum’s restoration team to restore Paulus Potter’s enormous painting, The Bull, to its former glory under the supervision of conservator Abbie Vandivere. If the Mauritshuis wins, a special restoration project, in full public view, will be organized to allow as many people as possible to observe and enjoy the restoration process of this iconic painting.

You are kindly invited to vote for the Mauritshuis by clicking on this link and following the instructions. Once you have voted, you will be sent an email with a link, which you will need to click on and for your vote to be counted.

Although the voting process is in Dutch, it is relatively easy to follow. Alternatively, you can use this link to have the page translated into English by Google.

Voting closes by the end of November.
