The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) announced the opening of applications for the 2025 editions of its Curator Course and the Museum Restoration Fund.
The TEFAF Curator Course is a program that brings together the academic world and the art market. The program offers (emerging) museum curators and directors the opportunity to gain expertise, insights, and networking. The course, which is organized in collaboration with Maastricht University, is a unique chance for participants to learn from seasoned international colleagues, members of the TEFAF vetting community, and renowned art dealers who are experts in their specialized field. The second edition of the course takes place from 12 to 16 March 2025 in Maastricht.
Applications for the 2025 Curator Course are due by 16 October. See the TEFAF website for a brochure and the application portal.
The TEFAF art community has been supporting the restoration of museum artworks since 2012 through the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund (TMRF). The main objective of this fund is to provide financial aid for the professional restoration and research of significant museum pieces. Public museums from around the globe are welcome to apply for the grant, and any artwork from any period can receive up to €50,000 per year.
The TMRF application portal for 2025 is now open and will close at the end of September. To learn more and access the application, please visit the TEFAF website.
