Manfred Sellink Leaves the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp

Manfred Sellink is no longer the General Director of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp (KMSKA). The decision was made by mutual agreement with the executive board. The departure was announced by the Gazet van Antwerpen on 27 February. Carmen Willems, the museum’s Managing Director will temporarily lead the museum.

Manfred Sellink was appointed General Director and Head Curator of the KMSKA on 1 December 2014, succeeding Paul Huvenne. Prior to his position in Antwerp he served as director of Musea Brugge.

From 2008 until 2017, Manfred Sellink served on the board of CODART. He has been a member of CODART since the beginning in 1998.
