New Curator in the Spotlight: Bernd Ebert

In the latest edition of Curator in the Spotlight, Bernd Ebert reflects on his professional career thus far, within the theme ‘shifting perspectives’. He shares how this approach has led him to gain experience in different parts of the art world, all benefiting his interdisciplinary abilities. He also writes about his recent and current projects, and the importance of collaboration.

Bernd Ebert is Chief Curator of Dutch and German Baroque Painting at the Alte Pinakothek in Munich. He has been a member of CODART since 2009.

Curator in the Spotlight

The Curator in the Spotlight is a special feature on the CODART website that introduces one of CODART’s members and their work as a curator of Dutch and Flemish art. Every time a different curator writes about their work, projects and exhibitions, and a piece in their collection that is special to them. Recent curators in the spotlight included Liesbeth Helmus, Joanna A. Tomicka, Olga Kotková, and Nadine Orenstein.
