Journal of the National Museum in Warsaw. New Series Now Fully Digitized

On 29 May—marking the 163rd anniversary of the National Museum in Warsaw—the museum released the thirteenth issue of the Journal of the National Museum in Warsaw. New Series, its first digital-only edition. Launched in print in 2012, the journal will now be published exclusively online, making it more accessible to readers worldwide.

In addition to the latest issue, the museum has digitized all previous editions of the New Series, offering free online access to a rich archive of scholarly content. While the new issue does not feature Dutch or Flemish art, earlier editions include a wealth of material on these topics.

The journal is dedicated to the objects kept at the National Museum in Warsaw as well as various aspects of its collections, institutional history and activities. It publishes scholarly articles on art history, museology and heritage conservation, with the aim of disseminating knowledge about the museum’s holdings and encouraging further research by readers and scholars. Each article of the bilingual journal is published in both Polish and English.
