The Fondation Custodia and the GRANIT (Groupe de Recherche sur l’art du Nord, Images -Textes, Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) are delighted to announce the publication of Michel Weemans’ book on the Flemish landscape painter Herri met de Bles which has been published in French and Italian : Herri met de
Bles. Les ruses du paysage au temps de Bruegel et Erasme (Hazan, octobre 2013); Herri met de Bles. Gli stratagemmi del paesaggio al tempo di Bruegel e di Erasmo (Jaca Book, octobre 2013).

This book launch is hosted by the Fondation Custodia on Friday 29 November 2013 (6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and will be attended by the author.

The book will be presented by Victor Stoichita (Professor, Université de Fribourg), Agnès Guiderdoni (Professor, Université catholique de Louvain), Ralph Dekoninck (Professor, Université catholique de Louvain) and Jean-Marc Besse (Directeur de recherche at the CNRS).
