CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

New articles in Gerson Digital: Poland

Two new articles have recently been appended to the online publication Gerson Digital: Poland. With the help of the authors approximately 200 paintings, prints and drawings have been added to RKDimages, including provenance and literature. Hanna Benesz, former curator at the National Museum in Warsaw, beautifully describes the wealth and diversity of art from the Low Countries in Polish museums, while Jacek Tylicki, professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torún, shows how, in the 16th and 17th centuries, artistic traditions in Poland developed under the influence of both Southern and Northern Netherlandish artists.
