We are pleased to announce that the CODART 27 congress in Ghent is fully booked. From 15 to 17 March, 140 curators from twenty countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States, as well as Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Denmark will come together in Ghent to meet and speak about their profession.
Congress participants will discuss the congress theme ‘Telling Her Story: Female Creators, Collaborators and Collectors’ through lectures and case studies, pose questions to colleagues in the Speakers’ Corner, and network during the opening reception and congress dinner. To complement the program, attendees can visit a variety of locations in and around Ghent, including the Museum of Fine Arts (MSK), the restoration studio of the Ghent Altarpiece, the Ghent City Museum (STAM), and several local churches and city palaces. On Wednesday, an optional full-day excursion to Loppem Castle and the city of Bruges is also available.
We are thankful for the generosity and kind hospitality of the Museum of Fine Arts (MSK) and STAM – Ghent City Museum, our main partners in Ghent. We are also grateful to the embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Belgium, the City of Ghent and the Friends of CODART Foundation for supporting the CODART 27 congress.
We regret to disappoint members who are interested in CODART 27 but were not able to register in time. We are looking forward to welcoming you next year. Please keep an eye on our website where the date, location and theme of CODART 28 will be announced later this year.
