Today the Vlaamse Erfgoedbibliotheek (Flanders Heritage Library, a network of six heritage libraries in Flanders) launches its online treasury: flandrica.be. This online heritage library contains illuminated manuscripts, early printed books and other historical materials from the Middle Ages until the present day.

Since March 2011, 425 works have been fully digitized and are now available online. Over 75% of those works are manuscripts and early printed books. More works will follow in the coming years.
