CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

CODART eZine now online: The digital newsletter on Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

CODART proudly presents a new issue of the CODART eZine. After launching the CODART-TEFAF special on 19 March this year, our first regular issue (the eZine will be published biannually) contains articles on an exhibition of the Bute Collection in the Scottish National Gallery in Edinburgh, Sculpture and decorative arts in the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Wallace collection in London and its Curator of Old Master Pictures, Lucy Davis. Furthermore it contains two interviews, one with Rudi Ekkart, director of the RKD and one with George Abrams, private collector and patron of CODART. Nico van Hout writes about his latest publication, The Unfinished painting and Magdalena Sobczyk relates the story behind a recent restoration of a copy after Pieter Bruegel. Finally Anja Ševčík looks back at this spring’s CODARTfocus meeting in Prague.
