CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

Ferdinand Dorsman Grant enables CODART member to attend upcoming CODART congress

In January of this year, Wouter Biesterbos of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken the initiative, in cooperation with CODART, to establish a Ferdinand Dorsman Grant, to honor the memory of Ferdinand Dorsman (12 March 1958 – 4 December 2011), who worked for many years in the Department of International Cultural Cooperation of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ferdinand Dorsman Grant is meant to enable a curator of Dutch and Flemish art from a museum in Central or Eastern Europe to take part in one of the international CODART events.

CODART is pleased to announce that the grant has enabled a CODART member from Central Europe to attend the CODART VIJFTIEN congress in Brussels (18-20 March 2012).

Thanks to generous donations from all over the world, we are able to offer grants to attend congresses and other meetings for the years to come. To ensure the long term sustainability of the Grant, new donations are welcome. We would be grateful for your support of this initiative.
