Today, after 41 years of work in museums and 33 years in the art museums of Antwerp, particularly Museum Mayer van den Bergh, Hans Nieuwdorp retires. Hans was one of our most faithful members and will continue to be part of CODART as an associate member.

In an email to friends and colleagues Hans writes that he looks forward to continue his study and research of the collection of the museum he worked for. He will not leave the museum altogether, he will remain part of its future as a member of the board of trustees.

We are happy that we can offer Hans the possibility to keep in touch, as he writes: "The umbilical cord of the CODART website will fortunately prevent me from being cut off entirely from the biotope that art and museums have been for me for so many years."
