CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

Marrigje Rikken will work as a project assistant for CODART in March

During the month of March, Marrigje Rikken will assist the CODART bureau in organizing the upcoming CODART TWAALF congress in Maastricht and Aachen. After completing her research master (cum laude) in art history at the University of Amsterdam in 2006, Marrigje worked as assistant curator of Dutch 17th-century paintings at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam until
December of last year. She curated the current exhibition Melchior d’Hondecoeter: gevogelte (Melchior d’Hondecoeter: fowl) in the Rijksmuseum and is the author of the publication which was published on the occasion of this exhibition.

Marrigje will work temporarily for CODART, after which she will further pursue her art historical/curatorial career. Until then we are very glad to have her working with us.
