This year you will learn more about Dutch and Flemish art in Swedish collections, the focus of this years’ congress, in our plenary program. You can discuss various aspects of the permanent collection in a workshop or find a partner for a future project in the members meeting. Participants can choose to join excursions in Haarlem, Alkmaar and Hoorn.

Haarlem offers outstanding facilities for our congress and is compact enough to be reconnoitered on foot. Easy to reach by public transport or car from Amsterdam or Schiphol Airport, Haarlem is known for its historic town center, which includes many former almshouses as well as two important museums: the Frans Hals Museum and the Teyler Museum, which are well equipped with meeting spaces. During the congress you will have plenty of opportunities to visit their collections and the exhibition Still lifes by Pieter Claesz (1596/1597 – 1660) at the Frans Hals Museum.

For more information about CODART ACHT visit the congress page, where you will find the complete program, the registration form and information on fees, locations and accommodation. For participants from Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America financial assistance is available to attend the congress, please contact us as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing you in Haarlem!
