From 20-22 March 2011, the CODART VEERTIEN congress took place in Enschede. The congress dealt with themes concerning the “highlights” and “twilights” of a museum’s collection and the problems and opportunities they pose. The texts of the speakers, a list of participants and the network document are now available for download on the website.
CODARTfocus: Dordrecht and Leiden
CODART is proud to invite you to the first CODARTfocus meeting: one- or two-day in-depth visits to collections or exhibitions that deserve special attention. You can now register for the first CODARTfocus, a combined visit to Dordrecht and Leiden on Monday 9 May 2011. The museum doors of the Dordrechts Museum and Museum De Lakenhal will be opened exclusively for our group for a special visit guided by the curators themselves.
In Dordrecht we are invited to come and see the newly refurbished interior of the museum, the restoration studio and the exhibition Collectors in Dordrecht. In Leiden we will visit Museum De Lakenhal on the occasion of the exhibition Lucas van Leyden and the Renaissance. The curators of this exhibition will each show you their own personal highlights and will offer you a view through the glasses of their expertise.
