CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

CODART ZESTIEN in Vienna fully booked

It is with great pride that we announce that the CODART ZESTIEN congress as of today is fully booked. Curators of Dutch and Flemish art from 24 countries, varying from The Netherlands to the United States of America, from Argentina to Russia and from Finland to Belgium will come together from 21 to 23 April 2013 in Vienna.

They will address issues around the theme: ‘Old favorites or new perspectives? Dividing your time and attention between the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions’. After the festive opening at the Viennese Rathaus on Sunday, the curators are in for two days of inspiring lectures, interactive workshops and exciting excursions.

Besides the Kunsthistorisches Museum, also the Albertina, Akademie der bildenden Künste and Palais Liechtenstein will host parts of the program. All these institutions have important collections of Flemish and Dutch art.

We are thankful for the support of the City of Vienna, the Dorotheum, the Netherlands Embassy, the Representative of the Flemish Government, The Friends of CODART Foundation and the Austrian Ministry of Education, Art and Culture.

We regret that we have to disappoint members who are interested in congress participation but did not register yet. We are looking forward to meeting you next year. Please save the date for CODART ZEVENTIEN, that will take place from 16-18 March, 2014.
